This whole “record heat” is propaganda being put out by MSM. It’s summer. It’s hot. It’s supposed to be hot in the summer.
I drove cross-country in July of 1991, from Upstate New York down the east coast to Florida, then across the south on Route 10 to LA, the I-5 north to Seattle. When I was in San Antonio in July it was 120-degrees by 11:00 AM. The locals didn’t even bat an eye. The kept cool indoors or in the pool. Two-weeks later I spent the whole day exploring the Pima Aircraft Museum and the aircraft burial grounds in Arizona. It was 120-degrees almost all day. There was no fuss. I was issued a canteen, some salt tablets, and told to “have fun.” Twenty-seven years later and this is still pretty much the same summer in 2018 as it was in 1991.
So, what else is going on besides it being summer? I wonder.
What has changed is the propaganda. The draining of Lake Mead by the demands of over-population. Worse, is the intruding insanity of “Open Borders” and unfettered over-population. But all you hear out of MSM is how hot it is. Nuts.
The forest fires is another distraction. Especially, all the forest fires being set by illegals sent to this country for the expressed purpose of burning the country down. But still, all MSM wants to talk about is “Open Borders.” Nuts.
Methinks that Andre is a MORON!
Probably affiliated with that pinnacle of scientific and intellectual activity(not) –The Heartland Institute, whose sole object is to confuse and obfuscate this, the most important problem being faced by the world today.
Current climate change may be real since it has happened may times before. Anthropogenic climate change however is not real.
I believe climate change is real and will make the earth uninhabitable. If you have a baby or toddler he or she will feel the impact in his/her lifetime to a highly disruptive level. I’m not a scientist. I have lived in the same area all of my life and it has never been this hot for so long in the season. Summer really goes from June to November. Winter is mild and offers a reprieve for maybe two months
