Corrections Policy
Undark’s reporting endeavors to be truthful, accurate, and civil. We strive to vigorously fact-check everything we produce, and all published material is subjected to extensive editorial scrutiny. While minor changes to address typos or grammatical errors may be made to a story in the hours after it is published, we do not make meaningful or substantive edits to a published piece without notifying readers of the change and explaining why we made it.
Despite our best efforts, we are far from perfect and sometimes an errant fact or framing gets past us. In such instances, we work quickly to understand the error and to fully address it by correcting the information in the story itself, and appending a detailed explanation of the change at the bottom of the piece in question.
If you see something that you believe to be inaccurate, please send an email to [email protected].
